Studio Rules
Last updated: May 6, 2026
These rules help us keep the studio in top condition for every shoot. Please read them before booking — by completing your reservation, you agree to these terms.
Studio Rental Rules
1. Booking & Payment
- Your booking is confirmed only after 100% prepayment.
- Your reserved time is the start of your shoot, even if you arrive earlier or later.
- The minimum rental is 1 hour: 50 minutes of shooting time plus 5–10 minutes for pack-up and an equipment check by our studio administrator. We will notify you 10 minutes before the end of your session so you can wrap up comfortably.
- Rescheduling: You can move your booking to a different slot once, free of charge, up to 48 hours before its start time.
- Arrival: Please arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before your reserved start time. Our team will let you in at your booked slot.
2. During Your Session
Time & Extensions
- Please finish your shoot 5–10 minutes before your reserved time ends. Use this window to pack up, allow models to change, and leave the studio on time.
- Want to extend? Let the administrator know. If no one has booked after you, you can add time at the standard hourly rate. If the next session is booked, extensions are not possible.
Floor & Footwear
- You must wear indoor replacement shoes to protect the studio floor and cyclorama. We provide them if you don’t have your own. Shoe covers are not accepted — they tear easily and still let street dust through.
- All shoes worn by models during the shoot must be clean and dry. All soles must be taped — depending on the material, they can leave permanent marks on the cyclorama. We provide taping materials on-site.
Equipment & Props
- Paper backgrounds and lighting attachments may only be changed by our studio administrator. For other backgrounds, lighting, and props, adjustments must be made together with the administrator. Our team does not build lighting setups as a standard service (available for an additional fee), but we will assist with setting up complex equipment — especially expensive lights or attachments — to minimize the risk of damage.
- You are financially responsible for any damage to studio equipment or props, compensated at market value. If you notice any issue, notify the administrator immediately.
Safety
- When using light stands, always weigh them down with sandbags as ballast. Without ballast, stands with mounted lights can tip over and cause injuries or equipment damage.
Group Size
- Maximum 6 people in the studio at a time, including the photographer. Starting with the 7th person, an additional fee of €10 per person applies.
Special Shoots (Approval Required)
- Confetti, artificial snow, sand, fog, fire, candles, bubbles, or any loose materials — must be pre-approved. You are responsible for cleaning and must reserve at least 30 minutes of rental time for it.
- Animals — must be pre-approved (for safety, allergy, and cleaning considerations).
- Food and drinks are allowed — water, coffee, and tea are included. Please don’t eat on the cyclorama, paper backgrounds, or near equipment. The renter is liable for any soiling or damage, and cleaning fees may apply.
3. Fees & Penalties
- Overtime: If your team is still in the studio more than 5 minutes after your reserved time ends, a fee equal to 1 hour of studio rental applies.
- Cyclorama damage: If the infinity wall is stained, a €50 repainting fee applies.
- Cleanup & disposal: You must remove all items you brought — including trash, props, and set pieces (backgrounds, furniture, etc.) — before you leave. Items left on the premises will be disposed of at your expense. The disposal fee depends on volume and effort required.
4. General Information
- We are not responsible for personal items left in the studio. Found items are kept for 30 days.
- You are responsible for making sure everyone on your team has read these rules before the shoot.
- Alcohol is not permitted in the studio. The renter is liable for any soiling or damage caused by violations.
- Children are welcome. The renter is fully responsible for the safety, behavior, and supervision of any minors on set — especially around equipment.
By booking the studio, you agree to the rules above and accept full responsibility for everything that happens during your session.
